Calgary Flames implode and lose series to Dallas Stars
Calgary played like a team that didn’t want to go home in game six for almost ten minutes. Then Milan Lucic took a stupid penalty and the entire momentum of the game shifted. The Flames were up 3-0 before the penalty and they ended up losing the game by four goals. Flames won ten minutes of period one and it was all downhill from there.
The Flames completely imploded on themselves at the end of the first period. Overall they allowed seven unanswered goals. Five of those came in the second period. The game was completely drunk the entire time. Much like the entire series.
Honestly I’ll miss the high flying, no fucks given pace of these games. Defense was optional and fighting and goal scoring was a constant. The series made no sense but damn was it fun.
The Dallas Stars win the series 4-2 in six games. The Stars lost the first two games of the series and won the next four. Just a wild series overall. The finals score of game six was 7-3.
