Florida Panthers stay alive in series. Defeat Islanders 3-2

In a win or go home game the Panthers really, really didn’t want to be sent home to Florida. I can’t blame them. The NHL bubble has to be a lot safer than the state of Florida. When a team is eliminated from the bubble they are asked to pack up their bags and leave as quickly as they can, just ask the New York Rangers after they were swept by the Canes.

New York Rangers bring me your torch. The tribe has spoken. It’s time for you to leave the bubble

Florida took the initial lead. Eventually the Islanders would tie the game up on a Jean-Gabriel Pageau goal. The Panthers then went up 3-1 and the Islanders were forced to pull the goalie. Islanders were able to get one with the goalie watching from the bench but not a second. Panthers win 3-2 Islanders lead the series 2-1.
