Tampa Bay Lightning defeat Boston Bruins 3-2 on late goal by Tyler Johnson

With the intensity the Bruins and Lightning played with you would have thought it was a game 7 winner moves on and loser goes home situation. Nope, just a round robin game to determine seeding. Doesn’t matter. The game saw a couple of fights, some extremely physical play, and a bunch of goals.

Game ended in a 3-2 victory when Tyler Johnson scored with under 2 minutes to play. Bruins pulled the goalie but it wasn’t enough to get a victory. The Bruins haven’t won a round robin game yet. The winner of the Presidents Trophy, the best team in the NHL, are sitting in the fourth spot of the Eastern Conference round robin tournament.
